Long-Anticipated New Trading Figure Game is on the Horizon!

On September 19th, Pokémon USA, Inc., a worldwide leader in trading card games, will introduce a trading figure game. It will mark the greatest evolution of Pokémon since the release of the phenomenally successful trading card game in Japan in 1996.

The Pokémon Trading Figure Game will initially feature more than 40 high-quality collectible figures of players’ favorite Pokémon characters. The unique game play includes a dynamic spinning mechanism that lets players send their Pokémon figures into battle against one another on a playmat battlefield as they race to be the first to reach their opponent’s goal.

"We know Pokémon fans have wanted a figure game for a long time," said Mr. Tsunekaz Ishihara, co-creator of both the new game and the original trading card game. "We wanted to be sure the new game was a truly exciting experience to play, and that the figures were the highest possible quality before we revealed what we had created. So, we have worked with Kaiyodo to make a truly fantastic game."
