Take Flight with Three Legendary Pokémon in Platinum—Supreme Victors!

The secret is out! Three special Pokémon take to the skies in the Pokémon TCG: Platinum—Supreme Victors expansion: Articuno, Moltres, and Articuno! You won’t find this trio on your checklist; they’re numbered, 148, 149, and 150 out of 147, respectively. What you will find is that these Pokémon are all spectacular in their own unique ways! And one more exciting note: If you put the three cards next to one other with Articuno on the left, Zapdos in the middle, and Moltres on the right, the backgrounds of the three cards will form a singular sunburst pattern!

Articuno (148/147) sparkles with its Diamond Dust attack, which has the potential to cause havoc on your opponent’s Bench. The attack does 20 damage to the Defending Pokémon, but with a favorable coin flip you can also deliver 10 damage to each Pokémon on your opponent's Bench plus make the Defending Pokémon Paralyzed! That kind of potential power is pretty rare, but what else would you expect from the amazing Articuno?

This high-flying Moltres (149/147) is the second secret card in the Platinum—Supreme Victors expansion, and it’s sure to get your opponent get hot under the collar. With its Hyper Flame attack, Moltres can do an impressive 60 damage to the Defending Pokémon; a coin flip will determine whether you need to discard one Fire Energy or all of the Energy attached to the Legendary Pokémon. Still, with a bit of luck and well-stocked arsenal of Energy, Moltres has the chance to torch your opponent over and over!

The third secret card to swoop into Platinum—Supreme Victors is the Legendary Zapdos (150/147)! The menacing Electric Pokémon crackles with energy capable of shocking a Pokémon on your opponent's Bench. Use its Lightning Burn attack when Zapdos can weather a little damage because while it does 30 damage to the Defending Pokémon and, depending on a coin flip, 30 additional damage to a Benched Pokémon, a coin flip of tails makes Zapdos do 30 damage to itself! Regardless, the chance to do a massive 30 damage to a Benched Pokémon is worth the risk. There are plenty of excellent Lightning Pokémon in Supreme Victors, so it shouldn't be hard to find a good place for Zapdos in your next deck!
