Mightyena

The new Mightyena (18/108 from EX Power Keepers) loves to play keep away. It will steal carry off your opponent’s Pokémon Tool cards with its Plunder attack, and with a Retreat Cost of 0, it can escape to the Bench before getting caught! When it’s time to get serious, Mightyena can hit for 50 with his Dark Burst attack—o r 70 if Sidney’s Stadium is in play. Mightyena can serve an additional 10 damage for every Darkness Energy attached to it, so Dark Burst can do 90 damage, or even 100! This is one puppy you don’t want to underestimate!

Cacturne

Cacturne, a favorite Pokémon that returns in EX Power Keepers, really packs a punch. Combine Cacturne with Sidney’s Stadium, and watch Cacturne’s Poison Structure cut in — automatically placing a Poisoned Marker on one of your opponent’s Pokémon. Not only is that automatic damage, but as a Special Condition, it can frequently turn off Poké-Powers on other Pokémon. Use Pin Missile to finish off any Pokémon that decides to stick around, and you’ll become very attached to Cacturne… and its sharp spikes!

Flygon ex

Are you up against hard-hitting opponent? It’s no problem for Flygon ex, new from EX Power Keepers! Its great new Poké-Body Psychic Protector lets you discard up to four cards from your hand to block 10 damage per card! Combine this with 150 HP and double Resistance to both Fighting and Electric types, and Flygon ex will around for a while! It also has a wicked Slashing Strike attack, but after using it, you might not be able to use it again next turn. However, never fear! Flygon ex’s free retreat cost lets you swap it in for a power hitter, setting up a fantastic defense-to-offense combo! With one or two in your deck and a few card-drawing Trainers, you’ll certainly be a tough Trainer to take down.

Delcatty

Here, Skitty, Skitty. No wait, that’s a Delcatty — Skitty’s evolution! This 70 HP fabulous feline’s Poké-Power Energy Draw enables you to discard 1 Energy card from your hand in exchange for drawing 3 cards from your deck. Being able to draw the right cards plays a big part in the TCG, making this power very versatile. For the cost of 1 energy, Delcatty’s Max Energy Source attack does 10 times the damage for each Energy in play attached to all your Active Pokémon. Purr-fect for 2-on-2 play, Delcatty’s damage can add up with the additional energy being attached to a second Active Pokémon.

Wobbuffet

Wobbuffet’s Safeguard Poké-Body allows it to hold its own in battle against the mightiest of Pokémon-ex. With the ability of having all damage and effects from any Pokémon-ex’s attacks being prevented, any player would want to have Wobbuffet on their side. This stong 80 HP Basic Pokémon (with his 50-damage Flip Over attack) is a great starter Pokémon for any Psychic deck! With 2 retreat cost, Pheobe’s Stadium enables Wobbuffet to retreat without paying any energy at all.

Skarmory ex

Skarmory ex brings in a new Poké-Body, sure to fluster the most difficult opponents! Use its attack Whirlwind to bring up one of their weakened Pokémon, and when your opponent goes to retreat it during his or her turn, BAM! The Metal Gravity Poké-Body kicks in, placing three more damage counters. This is one tough bird that you can find in EX Power Keepers (98/108).

Medicham

Watch out, Medicham is ready for battle! Unleashed in EX Power Keepers, Medicham’s Vigorous Aura Poké-Body causes its attacks to have just that much more sting to them. Whether it is punching or kicking, Medicham is a lean, mean fighting machine. Your opponent will definitely want to get his or her Pokémon out of the way of Medicham’s Rolling Kick or it might be good-night for your opponent.
