2008 Professor Cup Winner

After a long day of battle, Ryan Alperstein is announced the 2008 Professor Cup winner.

On the eve of the 2008 Pokémon TCG U.S. National Championships, Ryan Alperstein proved victorious in the 2008 Professor Cup. The Professor Cup gives Pokémon Professors, who are normally competition judges, an opportunity to strut their stuff and compete in a casual and fun event.

Ryan 's deck was centered on two Pokémon—Breloom and Donphan. Ryan used the healing power of Breloom and the hit-and-run strengths of Donphan to seal a victory after an entire day of Pokémon TCG action.

Congratulations to Ryan, as well as 2nd-place finisher Aaron Curry and 3rd-place competitor Brent Siekenkittel.
